Strictly Pancakes

I was supposed to have brunch at Food for Thought that day. Unfortunately, it was closed. So we ended up walking to Strictly Pancakes to have a go and the raved pancakes.

They had a selection of either savoury or sweet pancakes. It was refreshing to see savoury pancakes and so I had the Garlic Prawns Pancakes ($14) served with herb butter and maple syrup. I thought the maple syrup and butter was unnecessary as neither of it would go well with savoury pancakes.

The garlic sauce was very good and it was packed with lots and lots of garlic. Prawns were very fresh as well. Fluffy pancakes were definitely a plus point. Never underestimate the size of it as I was very full by the time I was done with the second pancake.

My friend had her share of sweet pancakes (Banana scotched pancakes) and she loved it!

Canele Patisserie

Savoury crepe with Paris Ham, Emmental Cheese and sunny side up was cooked to perfection. Always had a liking for crepes and this was really good. The center yolk was still runny when served.

Would definitely return for another visit!
